Objectives of the Study

The objectives of the study are:

  1. most in demand in the market and available in some programs;
  2. most in demand in the market but unavailable and undervalued by the public and/or too costly for the training institutes to teach;
  3. available in the market and offered in training programs but not in demand;
  4. projected to be in demand in the near future

  1. the direct channels of communication and job-recruiting mechanisms available;
  2. the quality and relevance of training programs with respect to the needs of the market;
  3. the training programs which should be discontinued or modified, and those which should be introduced;
  4. the attitude of businesses towards training programs in general whether they are in-service or pre-service (formal and informal).
