A book addressing the issue of citizenship in Lebanon through three axes: (1) the role of the sectarian system in hindering the establishment of citizenship in Lebanon and the ways to overcome this problem, (2) the role of the educational systems in constructing (or not constructing) the Lebanese citizen and what that role should be, and (3) the role of women in advancing citizenship, with a focus on the reasons for the misrepresentation of women in the administrative and political realm, and in general life in Lebanon.
