A report summarizing the June 24, 2011 LCPS roundtable meeting which discussed the effects of the Arab uprisings on Lebanon’s political stability. The report, which pays particular attention to effects of the protests in neighboring Syria, addresses the potential repercussions of the Arab uprisings on the Lebanese government that was formed in June; the repercussions of the Arab uprisings on the Lebanese political agenda; the expected challenges and dangers threatening the political stability of Lebanon in addition to its internal power balance; the potential opportunities provided by regional changes to introduce political reforms.
